Scouts BSA Camps

Baden-Powell Council operates two Scout Camps:

The camps fill up quickly - if your unit hasn't made a reservation yet, be sure to do so!

Scouts BSA Summer Camps will be handled differently for 2021 than in the past.

Camp Tuscarora will offer two full-week "quest" based programs. For those scouts interested in earning merit badges, Camp Tuscarora has seven program areas and offers 36 merit badges. Popular with the scouts are the Rifle and Shotgun ranges, and the camps 40-foot, three-sided climbing and rappelling tower. Tuscarora's summer camp weeks for 2021 are:

  • July 11th - 17th Summer Camp - Camp Tuscarora*
  • July 18th - 24th Summer Camp - Camp Tuscarora*

Camp Barton will offer shorter Specialty Camp Programs, making use of the camp's resources such as the waterfront and nearby opportunities in the Finger Lakes, which can be combined to form flexible programs of different lengths. We will offer Summer programs from July 28-August 11, 2021.

These will be in the form of four session blocks.

  • Session 1- July 28-July 31

  • Session 2- August 1-August 4

  • Session 4- August 8-August 11

These programs are designed for Provisional Scouts, Families, Patrols, Troops, Ships and Crews. We have the amazing Waterfront for Sailing and Jet Skis, as well as the entire Finger Lakes Region for exploration.

The programs to be offered at Camp Barton in 2021 are:
